Site Superintendent
Responsibilities
Supervise daily activities of all trades on multiple project sites
Adhere to published project schedule
Initiate corrective action to maintain project schedule (in conjunction with project manager)
Submit daily progress logs to project manager
Adhere to building owners operating policies and procedures
Ensure proper ministry safety protocol is followed on all sites
Ensure cleanliness of all project sites
Requirements
Five years site supervision commercial interior renovations
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, details and specifications
Knowledge of current construction practices
Solid understanding of all construction trades
Computer literate (MS Office)
Trade background an asset
Valid driver license with clean MTO abstract

Excellent conflict resolution skills
Detail oriented
RESPONSIBILITIES
Plan a construction project and generate a construction schedule
Coordinate daily activities of all trades to meet construction schedule
Initiate corrective action to maintain project schedule
Organize and chair construction start up meetings and subsequent weekly site meetings
Process all designer and engineer documents (change notices, change orders, site instructions)
Generate daily logs for each project and distribute to project stakeholders
Assist Finance Manager with the preparation of accurate progress billing
Adhere to building owners operating policies and procedures
Ensure proper ministry safety protocol is followed on all sites
Ensure cleanliness of all project sites
REQUIREMENTS
Five years project management experience in the construction industry
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, details and specifications
Thorough understanding of current construction practices and industry standards
Solid understanding of all construction trades
Computer literate (MS Office)
Trade background an asset
Valid driver license with clean MTO abstract
