RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan a construction project and generate a construction schedule

• Coordinate daily activities of all trades to meet construction schedule

• Initiate corrective action to maintain project schedule

• Organize and chair construction start up meetings and subsequent weekly site meetings

• Process all designer and engineer documents (change notices, change orders, site instructions)

• Generate daily logs for each project and distribute to project stakeholders

• Assist Finance Manager with the preparation of accurate progress billing

• Adhere to building owners operating policies and procedures

• Ensure proper ministry safety protocol is followed on all sites

• Ensure cleanliness of all project sites

REQUIREMENTS

• Five years project management experience in the construction industry

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, details and specifications

• Thorough understanding of current construction practices and industry standards

• Solid understanding of all construction trades

• Computer literate (MS Office)

• Trade background an asset

• Valid driver license with clean MTO abstract
